![]() They're not really issues either its just I feel the Brewmaster is behind in all aspects when comparing to my Paladin - Single target dps, AoE dps, survivability, self healing, useful cooldowns, etc. I just feel brewmaster may be the best tank right now.Maybe getting a little bit more gear may help out with the issues Im experiencing. So I don't know, maybe you should try to work it out. I honestly believe you may not know how to play your brewmaster my dude, I've ran all mythics now and every single healer at the end of the dungeon says I'm the shit, as in, the good shit. I just feel brewmaster may be the best tank right now. I do need to play more an get some Mythic gear but man, it sure makes it difficult to keep tanking on him when my Pally does everything so much better.I honestly believe you may not know how to play your brewmaster my dude, I've ran all mythics now and every single healer at the end of the dungeon says I'm the shit, as in, the good shit. I absolutely LOVE my Monk and all 3 specs but playing the Brewmaster right now feels like it's in a bad spot right now in all aspects. I do need to play more an get some Mythic gear but man, it sure makes it difficult to keep tanking on him when my Pally does everything so much better. ![]() It's disappointing putting in all the time to level and gear and have to do so much more as a tank on my Monk than my Pally and get a lot less out of it as a reward. Brewmasters in my opinion feel like they need some love and big time. I feel like I sit an wait a lot more as well on my Monk, less to do, less abilities to use. It's rather disappointing just how big of a difference there is between my two tanks. The only thing I feel that is better on my Brewmaster is my mobility. Dps, AoE, self healing, Cooldowns, survivability, etc. If you want a good raid tank that isn't as complicated to play, you should check out Guardians.Īfter playing both my Prot Paladin and Brewmaster Monk to 120 and has a very similar ilvl, I can humbly say that my Monk feels extremely weak in all aspects compared to my Paladin. HT is pretty much the way to go for raids and most M+. Guard isn't really all that great unless you're doing M+, even then, it's still interchangable with HT. It's the price they pay for having the best way to mitigate damage. My question is, with only Guard and Fortifying in a 7min CD do you guys who raid mythic as BrewMaster struggles too much, and is it really that much healer dependant or things "get better"? (I don't have tier atm and I don't know what azerite traits we're looking for).Yes, BrMs are the most healer dependent tank in the game. We can talent into Guard and Dampen Harm, but I read in the BM guide that Dampen Harm isn't the best choice unless you expect a big hit every 2min, so that leaves Guard. ![]() I am in a "training phase" and i'm noticing we only actually have Fortifying Brew as a strong CD, the other one is too unreliable or situational (Zen meditation). I'm thinking of switching from a Warlock main to a Brew because I need someone to reliably count on as main tank for Mythic raids. ![]()
